Munich, June 17, 2010. hybridica, the International Trade Fair for
the Development and Manufacture of Hybrid Components, has expanded its existing
Technical Advisory Board, which consists of representatives of the metals and
plastics industries, to include three additional members. The three
new Technical Advisors are Prof. Matthias Golle, Foundation Chair for Stamping
Technology, Hochschule Pforzheim, Dr.-Ing. Peter Heidemeyer, Managing Director
for Plastics Research and Development at "Süddeutsches Kunststoff-Zentrum"
(SKZ), and Claudia Stöhrle, Network Coordinator, Innonet Kunststoff. hybridica is
being held for the second time in Munich
from November 9 – 12, 2010. With representatives from companies such as Härter Stanztechnik GmbH,
Leicht Stanzautomation GmbH, Prym Inovan GmbH & Co. KG, Swoboda KG, Walter
Söhner GmbH & Co. KG and Wieland-Werke AG, the interests of the commercial
and industrial sectors are already represented in the Advisory Board. Thanks to
the three new advisory-board members, the fair is now also paying more
attention to clusters and research organizations to serve as a networking
platform for companies in this industry of the future. "Hybrid components
have an enormous amount of innovative potential to offer all high-tech branches
of industry, and it is far from being exhausted," explains Ellen
Richter-Maierhofer, Exhibition Director of hybridica. "The dialog between
the commercial and scientific sectors and the way that companies cooperate with
one another play a key role when it comes to bundling expertise, expanding
engineering know-how and promoting projects in new branches of industry."
Dr.-Ing. Heidemeyer and Prof. Golle are renowned scientists in the fields
of plastics research and precision-metal processing, and Claudia Stöhrle has
many years of experience in technology transfer and supporting European
research projects. "Thanks to the competent support of these three
experts, we are helping hybridica to take a huge step forward as an innovation and
cooperation platform for the industry," explains Richter-Maierhofer.
Prof.
Dr. Matthias Golle Prof. Matthias Golle has held the position of
Foundation Professor for Stamping Technology at Hochschule Pforzheim, which
reflects the great importance of sheet-metal and stamping technology in that
region, since 2009. Given his experience, Golle not
only sees things from an engineering-science point of view, but can assess the
market and the efficiency of products and the highly complex automated
technologies that are used to manufacture high-precision stamped parts for die automotive
and electronics industries.
Dr.-Ing.
Peter Heidemeyer Dr.-Ing.
Peter Heidemeyer has been
Managing Director of the Plastics Research and Development Division of the SKZ in
Würzburg since the middle of last year. Thanks to its R+D activities, the SKZ has
established itself as an organization that, among other things, sets the pace
for innovations that pertain to hybrid components. In its projects, the SKZ promotes
the industrial development of customized composite materials and develops
optimized manufacturing techniques through the integration of process steps.
Claudia
Stöhrle As Managing
Director of "Wirtschaftsförderung Nordschwarzwald", Claudia Stöhrle is
above all dedicated to collaboration and interaction between companies. She
coordinates the regional network of "Innonet Kunststoff", which is
based in Horb and whose diverse range of expertise covers the entire value
chain in the plastics sector. However, the network does not just focus on
plastics; it also covers metal hybrid parts, surface treatment, ceramics and
electronics.
