As an international trade fair for the development and manufacture of hybrid components, hybridica brings together companies that specialize in the processing and supply of hybrid components. It is being held for the third time from November 13 - 16, 2012.




Forward-looking and dynamic: the future belongs to hybrid components.
The trade show's broad spectrum of industries provided ample evidence of the rapidly growing significance of hybrid components and processes in the single target industries. It underlines the enormous potential for development hybrid components and their associated production techniques have.

Electronics, automotive, medical device technology, consumer electronics, power engineering, and domestic appliances are the main fields of application of hybrid components, but their development and manufacturing is about to play an increasingly important role in a growing number of industry. Thus, hybridica aims not only at presenting innovative and future-oriented technologies, but also at developing them from established into news markets and fields of application.

New in 2012: Lightweight hybrid design

During the past two years, hybrid products have played a leading role, especially in the implementation of lightweight solutions. Combining materials such as light metals and carbon composites makes it possible to produce structural body components that satisfy modern safety requirements at the same time that they make considerable weight reductions possible. These new sales markets for hybrid products ar just beginning to emerge and are expected to see extremly dynamic growth in the near future.

hybridica has picked up on these developments and integrated them into its exhibition profile. It all started during hybridica 2010, which featured a special theme day titled "Multimaterial Systems and Lightweight Hybrid Solutions" at the hybridica Forum. In 2012 hybridica will continue this subject.
