The innovative and interesting program of the following accompanying events received a great deal of attention at hybridica 2008.

hybridica forum - Pure information, free of charge
Representatives from the business, industrial and research communities offered insights in a total of eleven exciting speaker presentations that covered innovations within the integrated manufacturing industry and explored the opportunities for applications and the markets for hybrid components. They demonstrated how hybrid technologies are expected to develop in the future, where tomorrow’s markets will be and focused on the latest trends including ways to save energy and lightweight design in the automotive sector.

Highlight Avenue - think outside the box
Besides the automotive industry and medical technology, hybrid components are also conquering new worlds in other sectors such as sports and recreation. Being a presentation platform for exhibitors’ prototypes and hybrid studies that go way beyond conventional electronic applications, Highlight Avenue demonstrated what hybrid technology is capable of—both now and in the future. Highlight Avenue— fascination and inspiration at the same time.

The Glass Production Line - Your personal hybrid clip!
How exactly are hybrid components manufactured? The Glass Production Line at hybridica took a closer look at this process. Visitors were not only able to follow the process live, but could also take home the resulting product—a hybrid clip made of metal with a plastic grip injection-molded onto it - as a souvenir.
